4 Minimalist Christmas Decor Ideas

Hello, beauties! I love simple things and when it comes to decorating my home in the holiday season there’s no exception. This year we decided not to buy a Christmas tree and a bunch of stuff you usually buy around this time. I think the most important thing about the holidays is spending time with family and enjoy each other company. Therefore, I came up with 4 minimalist Christmas decor ideas to help you give you the inspiration to get creative with decorating your space this holiday season. Let’s start having fun!

Buy or make your own garland

You can create your own garland at home with seeded eucalyptus branches. Go check the easiest DIY ever, click here! or you can buy a garland in Trader Joe’s which is what I did. It was only $8.00. Hang the garland in the wall, staircase, around a door frame or above a bookshelf. Wrap the garland with string lights and/or mini ball ornaments if you want.

Make a pinecone garland

I found the pinecones in front of our apartment but you can buy them online (here) or at your local craft store. Attach the pinecones to twine by using a glue gun. This garland brings a bit of the outdoors inside.

DIY Foraged Triangle Christmas Wreath

I was inspired by this magical post! I promise it’s the easiest DIY, you only need stripped branches, evergreen leaves, twine, and a glue gun. Have fun and experiment with the placement of your foliage. Hang it anywhere in your house, it looks so simple and elegant.

Decorate your plants

Add mini ornaments or string lights to any plant in your house. We have a cactus and it looks adorable with the decor.
